Tubular Solar Collector
In order to mitigate the heat loss in the flat plate solar collector and raised the thermal temperature, the evacuated tubular solar collector was developed in the world in 1970s of which the heat absorbing body was blocked out in the evacuated glass tube so as to greatly raise the thermal performance. The evacuated solar collector is composed by assembling a numerous of evacuated solar collecting tube. In order to expand the solar collecting quantity, reflected plate is to be fixed in the backside of the evacuated collector.
The evacuated tubular solar collector can be divided to all glass-evacuated collector, glass-U shape evacuated collector, glass-metal heat-tube evacuated collector, and straight-through evacuated collector and thermal storage evacuated collector. Recently, all glass heat tube evacuated collector and new kind of all glass straight-through evacuated collector have been successfully developed in China.
After imported the pilot tube of all glass evacuated collector from the U.S in 1978, and under the efforts of more than 20 years, China has established the modernized all-glass evacuated collecting tube industry with self-determination intellectual asset, among which more than one hundred of magnetic-control sputtering hard coat machine were used for the process of collecting tube with the advanced quality and first ranking of production quantity.
China started to develop the heat-tube evacuated collector from the middle stage of 1980s. Under the efforts of more than 10 years, many technical difficulties have been tackled including the thermal seal, and heat evacuated collector production base has been established with complete intellectual asset in which the production quality can satisfy the worldwide standard and the quantity ranks the first.
Now, the production line of straight-through type evacuated collecting tube is being constructed and the products will be put into the market soon.
